Under Armor officially presents the SpeedForm Gemini 3 RE. This new smart health connected shoe designed for running collects even more data than the previous model.

The new Gemini 3 RE has the same sensors as the Gemini 2 RE. She offers activity monitoring for runners, allowing them to measure their pace and pace in real time, and records the number of kilometers traveled since the first use.

These data is stored on the MapMyRun companion mobile application, available on iOS and Android. MapMyRun is also integrated into the Under Armor Record app, allowing you to combine data with other Under Armor accessories like the UA Band and the UA Heart Rate chest strap.

A Jump Review feature to assess the level of fatigue of the runner

This new shoe also incorporates a new Jump Review feature, to measure the level of muscle fatigue. With this estimate, the user can decide if he is able to run or if it makes more sense to abstain.

To make this estimate, the smart health connected shoe measures the average time spent in the air during a succession of jumps. This feature allows the user to track their recovery status over time, and tells them how to change the intensity of their workout.

Three different versions for all styles of runners

The new UA SpeedForm Gemini 3 RE is available in three versions: Gemini 3 RE, Velocity RE and Europa RE. Each of these models is aimed at a different type of runner. The Gemini 3 RE has a small fabric panel in the middle of the foot, which increases responsiveness.

The Europa version is lighter, with a mesh tongue, providing more ventilation. Finally, the Velocity is both light and durable. That you are long-distance runner or sprinter, you will find the right shoe for you with this new collection.

UA Speedform Gemini 3 RE: price and availability

The three new smart health connected shoes from the UA SpeedForm collection will be available for pre-order from January 5. They will be provided with a one-year subscription to MapMyRun.
