the ultimate smart health connected helmet for cyclists!
[ad_1]
The LINX smart health connected helmet, created by the Seattle-based startup Coros, could well be established on the smart health connected cycling market. These headphones allow the user to listen to music, take phone calls, and receive directions as to when to hold the handlebars of their bikes. In addition, the integrated sensors are responsible for recording the user's progress and physical performance.
At first glance, this helmet looks like any cycling helmet. His design is aerodynamic, designed for protection. Fastening bands allow you to adjust it according to the size of your head and different colors are available.
Bone conduction speakers
In its ordinary appearance, this protection incorporates two bone conduction speakers attached by bands, a front microphone and a battery as well as a wireless unit. Thanks to osteophony, the ears remain free and the user can remain attentive to road traffic, the presence of pedestrians and all the noises to which a responsible cyclist must be attentive.
The sound is not as impressive and precise as with ordinary headphones. The bass is less pronounced, but the rhythms are just as appreciable. The mediums and higher mediums are clearly audible. The slight difference with headphones is a meager price to pay for the additional security that this system brings.
These bone conduction speakers are smart health connected to the user's smartphone via Bluetooth. The companion application also allows you to take advantage of analyzes and measurements. The various functions are controlled by a controller attached to the handlebars.
Many features

It is possible to define routes to follow, in order to receive directions along the route on the direction to take. The user can set the alerts to receive them every kilometer, or at each milestone. An emergency feature allows you to send a text message to a loved one, including the location and the situation, if the application detects a fall.
This application also allows you to share your performances and compare them with those of your friends or professional cyclists, thanks to the ghost-racing option. Two friends owning the LINX helmet can use a walkie-talkie feature to communicate directly and coordinate during a bike ride.
All data travels through the controller. It allows you to take phone calls, change songs, adjust volume and much more. Microphone offers a very good sound quality, worthy of those of standard headphones on the market. The battery guarantees at least twelve hours of use before having to charge this headset via USB.
Coros LINX: price and availability
To develop the LINX, Coros called upon a renowned Chinese bicycle manufacturer. Thanks to the Kickstarter campaign, launched this week, the project will be able to take on a new scale. The helmet will offered for sale in store for 200 dollars, while early-birds can acquire it for 100 dollars. Deliveries are scheduled for October 2020.
