The Weathermap Netatmo is created from weather stations

[ad_1]

Netatmo has just updated its mobile iOS, Android and Windows Phone application by adding a section that aggregates the data recorded by the various weather stations of the brand worldwide (with the agreement of users). The Weathermap displays real-time temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure in the areas where the stations are located. A web version is also available here.

Netatmo had already mentioned this project, it is now officially available: the Weathermap is a map of the world provided by Google which displays the data recorded by the community of owners of the famous smart health connected weather station. The budding meteorologists may deliberately choose to share their data to help create this gigantic map.

In view of the first results on this Weathermap, the users seem rather willing to share the data since the world is covered with small dots with the recorded data. We also discover the full extent of the phenomenon, and the worldwide popularity of the manufacturer of French smart health connected objects.

Netatmo is a symbol of FrenchTech

The French brand made itself known with this smart health smart health connected object before moving on to a thermostat, a smart health connected bracelet or a surveillance camera. Last week, it raised 30 million euros from Legrand to finance its international development. Already, it belongs to the few nuggets of the FrenchTech that crisscross the world at such prestigious shows as the Consumer Electronic Show held in Las Vegas earlier this year.
