Collaboration with research centers
Everything has been thought out so that the machine fits perfectly in Japanese apartments which often have a small area. It can measure between 80cm and 1 meter 30, and has a 70 cm arm with two clips at the end capable of lifting up to 1.2 kg. Human Support Robot was designed not to be stopped by an "obstacle" like the bump of a carpet. There are rumors that the robot would be equipped with stereo cameras as well as a Propense sensor allowing him to have a sense of depth, and identify objects as well as people. The company will also collaborate with several research centers, universities as well as people involved in nursing and health to develop new applications for HSR.
And this is only the beginning
Personal assistance robots tend to grow more and more. During the Innorobo fair, which was held in Lyon at the beginning of July, it was possible to see the robot Sami, also thought for health home help. Buddy, the little companion of the house, who is currently making a splash on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo can also allow him to keep in touch with loved ones and inquire about their health. And this is only the beginning.
