Tucky and TempTraq, children's health first

During CES 2016, smart health connected thermometers and medical devices for children's health will be presented. The opportunity to come back on two products highlighted during this event, the Tucky smart health connected thermometer and the TempTraq medical device.

The French startup E-TakesCare, specialized in smart health connected health, chose to present their brand new smart health connected thermometer for children at CES 2016. Located at Tech West Sands Expo level 2 stand number 71125, it will therefore be available to introduce this practical object to parents.

As for TempTraq, it's also the perfect place to rediscover your smart health connected patch, designed to monitoring the temperature of a child when the child is sick. American society Blue Spark Technologies, from which the product comes, will therefore Tech West Location, booth number 74848. Two similar products for the same purpose, to protect your child.

Two technologies similar to CES 2016?

TempTraq is therefore present at CES to demonstrate the primary usefulness of its smart health connected patch. This allows you to monitoring remotely, thanks to an application for free download on Android and iOS, the temperature of your toddler. This is a smart health connected patch from the category of wearables, which is placed under the child's arm and works with the Bluetooth technology.

Already presented at last year's CES, it was placed under the CES Innovation Awards and this time, it is on sale with a price of 24.99 dollars on their site and recommended at 19.99 dollars on sites where it is already available such as Amazon or CVS.

He returns this year with a little novelty, i.e. the temperature control can be extended to 48 hours. What does not change is its mode of operation, it is always activated by pressing the patch and monitoring remains continuous and remote.

As for the new kid, the French startup E-TakesCare intends to make a difference with its smart health smart health connected object Tucky. The principle is the same, it is a matter of continuously monitoring the temperature of your child from a distance, using an application, so as not to wake them up. Just like TempTraq, just put the device under his armpit and track measurements over time on their phone, while receiving alerts through the Bluetooth technology.

So there are great similarities in the product, which is flexible and non-harmful to the child, but also in the application itself, since it is possible to follow several children at the same time and transfer the data to the doctors in charge so that he can advise parents and warn them in case of problems.

Different products, however?

According to the startup E-TakesCare, what differentiates its product from others market smart thermometersis taking into account febrile convulsions, a complication that appears with rapid increases in fever, and the child's night activity.

What makes the big difference between the two products is especially the lifetime of it. TempTraq is fleeting and empties after use, while Tucky is a smart health smart health connected object that recharges by its USB port, it therefore seems to be reusable with an autonomy of 24 hours.

The difference of price for these two technologies therefore results from this lifespan. Tucky will be marketed for less than 100 euros and should be available in pharmacies this summer.
