Tushi Pal – An HR tracker with handmade accessories

Tushi Pal has just landed on Kickstarter. This HR tracker tracks your heart rate, activity, sleep and alerts you to calls and messages received on your phone.

But Tushi Pal is not a wearable like the others. Equipped with a screen, it is offered for sale with fairly original and unpublished accessories since they are handmade accessories in Mexico. And yes, it is possible to offer artisanal products in high-tech!

The bracelets are hand woven by indigenous Mayan artisans using three techniques: Jipi Japa, Sisal, Sisal Corchado and Sisal Corchado. At first, the three bracelets will only be offered in blue, but more colors will be available as the prize pool rises during the crowdfunding campaign and if the goal of 60,000 is reached by January 5, 2017 .

As you can see, the idea is to offer a unique and slightly bohemian wearable. Each bracelet will also be signed by its designer. On the crowdfunding campaign page, the device is described as a "fair trade tracker".

As for the specifications, we don't have any information on the battery life. We do know, however, that it’s possible to control your smartphone’s camera, that their alarms will go off if you sit too long. As for prices, they start at $ 79. Don't hesitate to take a walk on KickStarter to find out a little more. If the project is funded, the products will be shipped in January 2017. The wait will therefore not be too long.

As for the brand, Amsa’s Tushi, it has been around for about 3 years and is based in Texas. You can find other handmade products on their website.
