Shortcut suggestions: Siri knows their owners and knows what they want

As an intelligent voice assistant, Siri can recognize regular behavior and focus on it. For example, if someone always orders coffee or pizza at a specific time, Siri automatically suggests this product – provided you already have the free one Apple shortcuts app downloaded and installed. If you want to accept a recommended shortcut, just tap on the lock screen.

Create shortcuts and shortcuts yourself – how it works

If Siri does not automatically suggest the desired shortcut, there are two ways to set it up individually.

Create a shortcut from a third-party app

  1. Call up the desired app and click the "Add to Siri" button.

  2. Click the red button and record an individual activation set. Important: This command should be as simple and easy to remember as possible.

  3. Complete the shortcut setup by tapping "Done".

Add shortcuts in the iPhone settings

  1. Click "Siri and Search" in the settings.

  2. Now three examples are shown. To add an individual shortcut, tap on "All shortcuts" and then on the "+" symbol.

  3. Record an activation set with the red record button and save by clicking on "Done".

What to do if the shortcut you want is not available?

In this case, Apple suggests that the desired action be carried out first in the associated app. If it is still not displayed, it is possible that the app has to be updated or the respective app provider does not support shortcuts.
