Vector unveils its new smartwatches
The new Vector smartwatch was announced at the last Baselworld. It would offer a 30-day autonomy, would be compatible iOS, Android and Windows Phone thanks to its proprietary operating system.
This Vector smartwatch will be offered in two models: one round, Luna, and the other square, Meridian. It will offer different steel finishes and different leather bracelets. They will obviously be interchangeable. But perhaps the most interesting feature of this smartwatch is the so-called 30-day battery life.
This is made possible by monochrome LCD screens and a low-power custom operating system. The notifications received on the watch have been designed to be fairly discreet and will alert the user with a small vibration. The message is only displayed when the user raises his arm to look at his watch. Appointments will appear, for example, on the edges of the screen so as not to be too intrusive.
These Vector smartwatches are also IFTTT compatible. It will therefore be possible to create recipes based on the web, social networks, email services, etc.
The Meridian smartwatch will cost $ 199 while the Luna model will cost $ 349. No release date has been announced yet.
