Watch incorporating an Apple Watch in its bracelet

Pinnacle is a watch by watchmaker Nico Gerard that incorporates an Apple Watch directly into its strap. Already announced last November, this collection of watches is now available for pre-order on the brand's website.

Pinnacle watches from the Nico Gerard brand are just great. They combine traditional watchmaking on one side and the capabilities of Apple Watch on the other. The idea is to get, to merge, the best of both worlds: the look and feel of a traditional watch without sacrificing all the functionality of a smartwatch.

This range of watches clearly targets the luxury market. With prices ranging from $ 9,300 for the stainless steel version to $ 112,000 for the 18-carat gold model, this product is clearly not for everyone. Composed of three models, all the watches in the collection are equipped with an NG2824A movement resistant to depths of up to 100 meters. This double-sided watch, however, has a small defect: it is a little heavy and quite thick. On the one hand it is quite normal, we would have suspected it. The features, and perhaps the originality, were privileged at the expense of the bulk of the product. In use, this watch also risks being damaged, being scratched, fairly quickly.

Personally, I find the watch actually a bit big and quite bulky but the idea is really great. Besides, that gives me a little idea: why not create a bracelet allowing to "merge" your good old watch with your smartwatch. It may be possible to invent a bracelet with universal "fittings". Well, while waiting for someone to invent this type of product, if you want to wear your two watches at the same time, you will have to break your piggy bank or put some money aside!

Finally, I suggest you watch this little ehealth presenting the collection:
