Watch Urbane – LG's luxury smartwatch

Watch Urbane, the next Android smartwatch that LG will present at MWC 2015 will be a luxury iteration of its current smart health connected watch.

Watch Urbane is therefore a luxury smartwatch that will offer a body with all metal, gold or silver finishes and a natural leather strap that it will be possible to change when desired.

Watch Urbane will offer, like the G Watch R, a heart rate monitoring. If LG assures that this model is not technically a continuation of what the brand has proposed with the G Watch and the G Watch R, we are not very far either.

This luxury smartwatch offers the same 1.3-inch circular P-OLED screen as the G Watch R. However, engineers and designers have managed to round off the corners, if I may say so, at the bottom of the watch body. The battery capacity remains the same (410 mAh). Do not expect to exceed three days with it.

By entering the luxury smart health connected watch market, LG therefore finds itself in direct competition with the Apple Watch. For the moment, LG has not given any price but it is a safe bet that the brand will give them to us at the next MWC in Barcelona.
