Ginger essential oil is also called Zingiber officinale. It comes from the distillation of the rhizome. Its benefits relate to health, well-being but also beauty.

The millennial use of ginger has long demonstrated its effectiveness against many ailments.

Ginger essential oil for health

Ginger has been recognized for several millennia as an effective treatment for nausea, whatever their origins (pregnancy, anesthesia, transport). It helps to combat indigestion, flatulence and is particularly indicated in case of constipation. We therefore recommend taking one to two drops ofEssential oil ginger in honey three times per day. Ginger essential oil is a powerful tonic, it restores vigor to venous system. This is why a few drops in a neutral cream are enough to transform it into heavy anti-leg cream. If it acts on the venous system, it is also indicated in the treatment of male impotence and could also act on the libido feminine. Three drops of ginger essential oil mixed with five drops of hazelnut vegetable oil make a massage oil to be applied either at the bottom of the back for sexual tone, either on theabdomen to relieve constipation.(1)

The wellness benefits of ginger essential oil

A few drops of ginger essential oil on a handkerchief, which you can breathe as much as you want, tend to relieve people prone to travel sickness. There are also essential oil diffusers that can be plugged into the cigarette lighter. You can supplement with citrus essential oil and pepper mint depending on your sensitivity.

Ginger for hair beauty

This essential oil synonymous with tone is ideal for hair care. It is well known, in food form, a treatment of ginger helps to accelerate hair growth. But less is known about the virtues of essential oil against Hair loss. Indeed, the essential oil of ginger awakens the blood system of scalp. The fine capillaries often poorly irrigated at the top of the skull will be energized with a ginger-based lotion. Here is a 100% toned recipe to apply in rinse water after shampooing: infuse three teaspoons of rosemary in 190 ml of water, allow to cool, filter, then add 10 ml of apple cider vinegar and 20 drops of ginger essential oil. Vinegar helps to chase the limestone and gives your hair more shine.
