During the digestion, the circulating blood will temporarily take care of different micronutrients derived from food digestion : proteins, but especially carbohydrates and lipids (fats). The presence of chylomicrons ((globules fat in suspension) then gives the blood a milky appearance which can disturb certain dosing techniques.
