The Jabra Elite 75t headphones box is colorful. It uses the yellow and gray tones of the brand. The headphones are affixed roughly in the form of glossy stickers on the front face. The whole gives a quality effect and the desire to Review them. Inside, each element is well arranged. The charging case overlooks the earphones as well as a small box that contains the USB-C charging cable, 3 pairs of different size EarGels in silicone and the instructions for use. It is well presented and well nested in boxes. So well nested that the headphones are difficult to remove.

Design and ergonomics of the Elite 75t

The Elite 75t headphones are not that big. About the size of a ball, they fit easily in the palm of your hand. So at the beginning, instinctively, we handle them carefully for fear of dropping them or damaging them in any way. They do not however seem particularly fragile, but thewe want to take care of it. Which is logical, you will agree. In their soberly titled Gold Beige color, they blend well with all skin types, especially those that are a little lighter. Under this name a little flashy in reality hides a tone that gives them some appreciable discretion.

With Jabra's headphones, no small stick hanging or large button sticking out. They integrate well with the ear and wedge into the hollow without problem. In addition, they are sold with several tips of various sizes to suit the different types of roof anatomy. Once housed in it, we quickly forget it. Even after more than an hour of use, no discomfort is felt. The Elite 75t are light, comfortable, almost pleasant. Add to that a neat and elegant design and you get a successful product. In any case from the point of view of design and ergonomics.

We can't talk about these headphones without talking about their traveling companion, the case. In addition to serving as storage, it can be recharged on the go. It is also small and light and can easily be carried in a pocket. The other positive point is the very ergonomics of the case. Indeed, its magnetic cover and the magnetic earphone holder add a practical touch welcome which reassures. No worries that the case will open on its own and the headphones will slip out slowly. Same thing when you put them away, since you just have to bring them close to the small box so that they install themselves in their place.

Using Jabra Elite 75t Headphones

The Jabra Elites 75t can be paired simply via Bluetooth with any source. Besides, they can connect to two different sources at the same time. Switching from one to the other is quick and hassle-free. So you can immediately enjoy your music or the sound of your movies / series. But to go further, it is advisable to install the Sound + application from Jabra. It allows you to configure the headphones, check that they are up to date and provides all the documentation necessary for their operation.

Each earpiece has a button for all controls. There is a little memory work to do to remember them all, and sometimes we’ll launch the voice assistant when we just want to skip to the next song. In addition, when you have to make a long press to change the volume, it is not necessarily the most suitable. But once this gymnastics is done, it's nice to have physical buttons that respond correctly. Note however a slight latency between the support and the completion of the order.

Elite 75t features

The Elite 75t turn on automatically when they are removed from their box. They also have a function which interrupts the reading once one of the two earphones is removed. Sound will resume as soon as the headphones are placed in the ear again. The whole is very fluid and without great latency.

Jabra has also integrated 4 microphones into its headphones. This allows the voice assistant to be used to communicate with all the devices smart health connected to it. They are also used for phone calls. During my various tests, the interlocutors never complained of hearing badly or of being bothered by noise. These microphones are therefore of good quality.. Even if they toil a little when it is windy. This is particularly true when the HearThrough function is activated. This allows outside sounds to pass and no longer be isolated by music.

Good autonomy, a little shorter than that announced

These are the microphones that pick up noise from the environment and play it back through the headphones. However, they do not make a particular selection by only retaining the votes. Thus, in a noisy context, the HearThrough does not make it possible to hear a conversation perfectly. But this is not surprising. However, at the office, when you want to be calm, it makes sense as soon as someone wants to talk to you.

But all of this comes at a cost on the battery. Announced with an autonomy of 28 hours, charge (s) of the case included, the Elite 75t actually take a little less time. With a daily use of about 2 hours, the battery is drained after ten days. So we are more between 20 and 25 hours, which is already very correct. It should be possible to go up at 28 o'clock if you just listen to music.

Sound quality

What is expected above all from a pair of headphones is that it provides a sound experience that is to our liking. I must admit that with the Elite 75t, this was not immediately the case. Indeed, the first listen is a little aggressive with too much bass and acute screaming. The sound is not round, but on the contrary like chalk on a board. So, somewhat disappointed, you navigate to the Sound + app and eventually find the equalizer.

Fortunately, this equalizer is there because it saves everything. It allowsadapt the sound according to their preferences and obtain a result that suits everyone. Once configured, we could see that the sound quality is there. The sound is precise, even at low volume. Small shadow on the board, however, at high volume. There is a slight saturation effect. Unfortunately, this is something common on this kind of device.

The Elite 75t does not have an active noise reduction function. It’s not a problem, the natural isolation of these in-ear headphones is sufficient.

The application

As we said, Jabra's headphones don't need the Sound + app to operate or connect to a source. However, it would be a shame to do without it. First of all for the equalizer, but also for the other interesting functions. It is possible to ring an earpiece if it has been lost, orrecord sound profiles. They allow the sound to be adapted to the conditions of use, whether in transport, the office or playing sports.

Conclusion

Thanks to a successful design, notable user comfort and simple overall handling, the first contact with Jabra Elite 75t is pleasant. If you are surprised by the default sound profile, it is fortunately possible to modify it to your liking. Indeed the application offers many interesting functions which complement an already well supplied product. And if the commands can seem complex, we console ourselves by the fact that they are mechanical and therefore respond well. Generally, Jabra headphones are complete with good battery life and a customizable experience. Their price range is also correct for a product of such quality.
