Wishbone, smart health connected, contactless thermometer

[ad_1]

Another original Kickstarter project that sees the light of day today. This is Wishbone, a rain stick-shaped thermometer that attaches via an adapter system (jack plug) to a smartphone. It allows you to take the temperature of a young child from a distance (you have to bring him 3 to 5 cm from his head) thanks to an infrared system, all in less than 2 seconds and with a reliability of +/- 0.2 °.

It's pretty handy when you know that it usually takes 30 seconds to accurately measure the temperature of a human with a conventional thermometer. In the same idea, we saw that the BlueMaestro smart health connected pacifier is also able to measure the temperature of a child.

The start-up explains that it is also possible to measure the ambient temperature or that of a meal / drink with a different mode. It is on this point that it differs from a Fever Smart or other thermometer intended only for humans. All the information is then sent to a mobile application (iOS or Android) and is organized in the form of a graph. The user can thus easily follow the evolution of the temperature over time.

Another pleasant point, the price of Wishbone: it will take pay only $ 26 (+ $ 5 delivery) to get it, from April 2015.
