With the Netatmo June, no more sunburn!

[ad_1]

The French are definitely in great shape for this CES 2014! Netatmo unveiled at the fair its bracelet that protects from the sun, the June. The company first made itself known thanks to its weather Channel design and intelligent then, more recently, thanks to its thermostat which directly competes with Tony Fadell's Nest.

How does netatmo June work?

The June bracelet is smart health connected to your smartphone (iOS only for now) and captures UV rays. Since he knows your skin type, it will warn you when the sunshine you are exposed to is too dangerous for your health. To that, it will indicate what type (and what degree) of sun protection you will need to apply to best protect your skin. Netatmo argues that the sun can be harmful to health and that it is important to be alert. June is currently only water resistant, but not yet waterproof, so you will not be able to bathe with it (it’s gone for the summer holidays!). The Netatmo bracelet is smart health connected via Bluetooth Low Energy, which significantly extends the battery life: about a month.

A fashion accessory, for you ladies

This smart health connected bracelet is very feminine, and Netatmo has based all of its communication on this fact. Very close to a jewel bracelet, the sensor itself has a precious stone shape and is available in three colors: gold, silver and black. Availability is announced at second quarter 2014, which will allow you to enjoy it during the summer period, when the sun is particularly strong. As for the price, it should be around 95 €.
