Withings unveils its new hybrid watch

A beautiful evolution of the Steel HR

Following the new launch of the French company, the next generation is ready for the start of the school year. Soberly named Steel HR Sport, the newcomer takes a look very close to its elder, with a more athletic side. The silicone bracelet has also been revised, it is now pierced along its length to let the wrists breathe during the most intense activities.

The rest of the watch retains the same principle as before, namely a classic needle system combined with a small OLED screen. The latter can display call notifications, SMS and various applications. Of course, it can also provide insight into your progress, such as step count, distance traveled or even heart rate. The Steel HR Sport has indeed a heart rate sensor. It is also waterproof up to 50 m.

As before, the hybrid smartwatch is linked to the application Health Mate which provides graphs and various tips for daily progress. The biggest advantage of this watch lies in its ability to recognize 30 different activities. It also monitors the quality of sleep and calculates the VO2Max score. Its hybrid operation ensures a comfortable autonomy of 25 days.

Withings Steel HR Sport is available now at tech resellers like Amazon. It costs the sum of 199.95 €. It is available in two colors: black or white.
