Xiaomi has created a real tidal wave around the world with its smart health connected Mi Band and Mi Band Pulse bracelets. These two activity trackers are distinguished from the competition by their price, which is up to 10 times lower than that of its main competitors. The Chinese does not stop there and soon unveil a new bracelet more complete, and called Mi Band 2.

It was during a conference on smart health connected objects that was held in China that Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, took the opportunity to display with a new bracelet on his wrist. Unlike the two previous models, this new version would be equipped with an LCD screen as well as a button able to scroll the information on it. According to early rumors, the Mi Band 2 would be able to measure the number of steps, distances traveled, calories burned but also the heart rate – which is already the case of Mi Band Pulse.

The new bracelet should be formalized at a conference to be held on May 10, and will also see the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Max and the latest version of MIUI.
