Xiaomi Mi Band 1S – Images are leaking on the net

The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S, the next smart health connected bracelet from the Chinese brand, is constantly making a stir. Last in the list: images of the smart health connected bracelet leaked on the internet.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S which can be seen in the photo below would therefore be the next generation of Xiaomi smart fitness bracelet. One can in particular distinguish an optical heart rate sensor.

The 1S doesn't seem to have changed much in design compared to the original Mi bracelt (which you can see below). The bracelet and the module insertion seem identical but the addition of a heart rate monitoring would certainly be a good step.

Sales of the Mi bracelet have increased rapidly over the past 12 months. The fitness tracker, previously only available in China, is now sold in the Western world for a ridiculous price of 15 dollars. To date, nearly 6 million bracelets have been sold worldwide.

So even if it is far from perfect, this product is an excellent entry-level for all those who wish to discover this kind of product before taking the plunge and buying a slightly more expensive product at Fitbit or Jawbone.

To date, no official reaction from Xiaomi regarding the next Mi-gen Band 1S. No release date has yet been released. Of course, I will keep you posted on all of this.
