Young Doctors Join Forces with Synapse Medicine to Deliver Their AI Platform for Drug Use

Specializing in AI and bioinformatics, the Bordeaux start-up Synapse Medicine launched on March 19 its platform with AI to limit errors in drug interactions and help prescription, recalls.

The platform has a first virtual assistant feature, "a bit like a Google Assistant drug that can answer very precisely simple questions like 'what is the dosage of such a drug?'", Said Clément Goehrs, co-founder of society at TICsanté last March.

The collaboration between the start-up and Young Doctors makes it possible to propose the Synapse tool, to the members of the organization of young health professionals to accompany them in the good use of the drug.

As a reminder, the tool offers a second feature: it can analyze a prescription from a photo taken by a smartphone and thus allow the prescribing doctor or a pharmacist to know instantly if there are drug interactions or risk undesirable side effects.

"Synapse will save them time, secure their most complex prescriptions in real time and simplify drug research," said the two partners.
